ブラインドに絵画を描くシリーズを手掛けたのは3年前からです。ブラインドは、板の開閉によって、視覚的に印象が変わります。隙間が空けば視認性は損なわれ、隙間を占めることで、絵画としての視認性は高くなります。このブラインドの視認性を、絵画の生と死をテーマにしたいと思います。
It was three years ago that I worked on a series drawing paintings in blinds. The blind changes the impression visually by opening and closing the board. Visibility is impaired if clearance is left, and by occupying the gap, visibility as a painting becomes high. I would like to make this blind's visibility the theme of life and death of paintings.
